G1 Bandknife Splitting Machine
The G1 machine is mainly used in the shoe industry and for the production of technical parts such as gaskets etc.
Features
The material is transported towards the continuous bandknife by two feed rollers with additional supporting rollers. The splitting accuracy is +/- 0.1mm (+/- 0.005").
Materials to be cut
The splitting machine G1 is used to split hard rubber slabs, solid rubber slabs polished on both sides and polyurethane elastomer slabs with a maximum Shore hardness in the range of 50 - 95 degrees Shore Scale A, in a cold condition.
Other materials include PVC floor tiles in a warm condition.
The related G11 Bandknife Splitting Machine is mainly used to split extruded PE foams and non-wovens for the clothing industry with an accuracy of +/- 0.05mm (+/- 0.002"). It is normally supplied as a complete line with wind-off and wind-up machines.
